Horner Recruitment partners with Youth Projects
Horner is proud to have established a collaboration with Youth Projects in Melbourne’s Western suburbs. By working in partnership with Youth Projects we are connecting young people to jobs and helping them to have a better future.
About Youth Projects
Youth Projects is an independent, registered charity that provides front line support to young people and individuals experiencing disadvantage, unemployment, homelessness, alcohol and other drug issues, and people looking to re-engage with learning and employment.
Youth Projects work with people facing barriers to social and economic participation with a primary focus on young people and people experiencing homelessness to provide responsive and timely intervention to open up pathways out of poverty and homelessness – breaking the cycle of disadvantage.
How does the Horner and Youth Projects partnership work?
Each month, the Horner team comes onsite at one of the Youth Projects locations, conducts information sessions and works with the young people to get them into jobs with our Horner clients. We help them each step of the way in the interview and registration process. We work in partnership with the Case Manager to manage any issues if they arise.
The initiative has been well received by the Youth Project participants with a number of young people gaining work through Horner taking a positive step to improve their future.
