At Horner, my career goals of being a generalist Recruitment Consultant and being able to support a wide range of clients and candidates has been supported with on-the-job and online training. All management at Horner, even those in other offices are very supportive and encourage me to have my own ideas and opinions on how best to run our practices to suit our client’s needs. Over my time at Horner, my highlights have been the number of team events with not only my own office, but the rest of our teams to encourage networking and cross-collaboration, going on lots of client visits and visiting those we’ve placed in temporary and permanent placements onsite.

I had the pleasure of working as a Candidate Care Specialist at Horner for four months and it was a fantastic experience. Within the first three-quarters of my time here, I was able to progress significantly in my career being promoted to a Recruitment Consultant. The environment and culture at Horner are outstanding, and my team members are amazing in supporting my growth. My manager is always attentive to my needs and offers opportunities to showcase my skills, which I’m sure will help me further develop my career path in recruitment. I am proud to say I have even been recognised for demonstrating the company values by winning the quarterly Horner award. I am thoroughly enjoying my time at Horner, and I am grateful for the invaluable experience and continuous guidance I receive.
